Mentorship in Three Acts

"Mentorship (ˈmɛntɔːˌʃɪp) Noun. a period during which a person receives guidance from a mentor." Yeah, it seems clear enough. More and more, teams rely on mentorship to raise the skills of their under-experienced people. But mentorship is not a catch-all solution and has its risks. Without training, poorly structured mentorship can hurt the culture and stifle growth more than help. So, we need a model—a system. A process to lean into that makes it a helpful tool and not a blunt hammer. This talk will cover the three stages of integrating a mentorship program and how to help a hesitant team.
